The Many Faces of Breast Cancer

Celebrate the first Many Faces of Breast Cancer event in Chicago with A Silver Lining Foundation from 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 28 at the Wyndham Chicago (633 N. St. Clair St.).

The Many Faces of Breast Cancer event educates women about their ricks and provides information and support for the growing community of breast cancer survivors. Through an engaging panel of leading medical experts, moderated by Dr. Sandy Goldberg, founder of A Silver Lining Foundation and NBC5 Health and Nutrition Contributor, this event addresses a range of survivorship issues, focused on the latest information about diagnosis, treatment, prevention as well as the key survivorship issues that directly affect the 2.5 million survivors in the U.S. today.

The battle against breast cancer is rife with obstacles, and the fight and need to remain educated does not end after the initial treatment. Breast cancer survivors are at the greatest risk of their cancer returning within the first five years after completing treatment and events like The Many Faces of Breast Cancer provide support during as well as after treatments.

To RSVP please call 1-877-267-2316 or email ManyFacesChicago@zenogroupevents.com. Registration begins at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 28 and admission, refreshments and parking are free. For more information on A Silver Lining Foundation visit http://www.asilverliningfoundation.org/.
